We Are Ill x Shop Chats: Advancing MS Awareness in Black Communities

March is celebrated to not only recognize women in history, but it is also Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Awareness Month.

Our latest project release comes from We Are Ill, a nonprofit built to support, educate, and unite Black women who have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and to improve health equity for Black women living with MS.

It’s been both a privilege and a purpose-driven mission to serve as their project manager, helping bring their vision to life. Here are some key project highlights:

Project Case Study: Shop Chats – Understanding MS in Our Community

Developed & executed a 5-month project plan
Led weekly program updates, ensuring progress and resolving any roadblocks
Coordinated task management with contractors and the lead producer
Supported PR box outreach & logistics, collaborating with vendors and content creators

Every step of this project has been about amplifying awareness and providing meaningful support to Black women navigating MS.
